The Lagos State Government has provided enabling environment to improving the best water transport infrastructure, improving the handling facilities and proposed setting up boats and Ferry terminals in the strategic locations with connectivity to Lagos roads and rail systems. This is to encourage a proper development of Lagos water-ways and in the next few years Lagos shall witness a large number of water transport patronage.
